The Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners and the Legal Aid Society in collaboration with the Sindh Judicial Academy (SJA) organized a two-day capacity building workshop for CWP-LAO lawyers from 15th to 16th February 2022 and 21st to 22nd February 2022.
The sessions were held in two batches in which 39 lawyers from different Districts of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Khairpur, Dadu and Mirpurkhas were trained by senior Trainers of SJA on the following topics; principle of forensic report & its interpretation, art of argument (bail application), Qanoon-e- Shahadat 1984, Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act 2018, art of argument on main case, important case law and professional ethics to be observed by an advocate.
