The Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners (CWP) offers unpaid internships for students and individuals interested in practical experience in legal aid, prisoners’ rights, public interest litigation, and human rights—particularly within Sindh.
We welcome applications year-round, with preference given to candidates who can commit to a continuous three-month period and are 16 years of age or older.
Interns may work with CWP’s legal or administrative teams. Responsibilities can include:
- Assisting advocates with case preparation
- Supporting field work and office activities outside Karachi (when required)
- Helping organize external programs such as trainings and conferences
- Contributing to communications and documentation tasks within the office
CWP internships provide meaningful exposure to justice-sector work and the realities of the criminal justice system in Sindh.
