In a recent notification by the Home Department, government of Sindh, the Committee has been re-notified under Section 55 of Sindh Prisons and Corrections Service Act 2019 on 21st March 2024. The new composition is as follows:

1. Mr. Muhammad Siddique Memon, Chairperson;
2. Additional Secretary Prisons Home Department, Government of Sindh, Secretary;
3. Inspector General Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service (SP&CS), or his representative not below the rank of DIG Prisons, Member;
4. Representative of  Auqaf, Religious, Zakat & Ushar Department, Government of Sindh, Member;
5. Representative of Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution Department, Government of Sindh (not below the rank of Additional Secretary), Member;
6. Mr. Muhammad Khan, CEO, MK Trading Company Pvt. Ltd (Social Worker/ Civil Society), Member;
7. Mr. Parwaiz Ahmed Qureshi (Legal Expert/ Civil Society), Member;
8. Barrister Haya Eman Zahid (Legal Expert/ Civil Society), Member.
